FEATURES:
Powerful and quiet 600 watt motor features self adjusting speed control.12 minute timer and bowl speed control (adjusts from 45 to 130 rpm.)
Unique engineering puts the motor in the bottom of the unit. A movable steel arm holds the roller with a separate scraper that simultaneously rolls and kneads dough and batter.
Mixer may be turned on its side to accommodate a variety of attachments purchased separately. These include a meat mincer, vegetable slicer, blender, citrus press, strainer, grater, pasta discs, flake and grain mills and cookie press.
Large plastic beater bowl whisks meringue, creams butter and icing and holds up to 18 egg whites.
The Assistent weighs only 19lbs. with stainless steel bowl and fits conveniently under overhead cabinets on most kitchen counters. Rubber feet and solid construction keep mixer in place during operation.

What an incredible machine! Having worked with fresh milled flour for over a year and after many failed sandwich loaves using a basic Kitchen Aid; I almost cried when the very first batch of bread in the Ank came out soft and delicious. I could even tell the vast difference in the dough before even baking!

I am so thankful for this mixer! I had one 25 years ago when it was an Electrolux Assistant but I sold it about 10 years ago when I was moving and not using it as much. Boy, did I regret selling it and to be able to repurchase a new one (in a much fancier color than the original white) is such a blessing! It handles our dough so well with the dough hook and the dough roller is wonderful in my fresh milled sandwich bread. The beater bowl works great for cookies and frosting. I also have a kitchen aid but this is so much better for bread!

This machine is wonderful! It has made baking so much fun that I refer to it as my toy. My only suggestion would be that they would provide YouTube links to demonstrations since it was confusing at first. Thankfully I had seen a YouTube video in the past of Sue Becker using one and was able to rewatch that video to understand how to use it.

Loving it! My new Ankarsum in coral crush looks glam & is fabulous on bread dough & more. The dough hook was accidentally omitted from the box but Ankarsrum sent one out immediately — wow, it is substantial! Baking production is up 3x, haha.
